Lebanon is guest of honor at the “Foire de Genève”  

          The “Foire de Genève”, an international fair held in Geneva on an annual basis, is hosting Lebanon as its guest of honor in this year’s event, which took place from November 11 till the 21st.

           A national pavilion represented Lebanon over an area of 1000 square meters, involving exhibitors such as Middle East Airlines, The Investment Development Authority of Lebanon, Casino du Liban, Solidere, and others. Lebanon’s participation is co-sponsored by Bank Audi S.A.L – Audi Saradar group, and was organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon. 

          The pavilion is putting forward many musical, artistic and gastronomic activities in order to familiarize the visitors with the Lebanese music and food. Lebanon won the first award in the exhibition for its 1000 square meter pavilion, which strengthened its economic role and presence in Switzerland. In parallel to the Geneva fair, the Arab-Swiss Chamber of Commerce held a conference to bring together Lebanese and Swiss businesspeople to discuss the possibility of cooperating at various levels and to build partnerships in the domain of tourism and hospitality.
